Happy Friday everyone! I’m looking forward to the long weekend. I’m sure there’s much fun to be had by everyone: parties, dinners, music festivals, Moomba, and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival- lots of rich food and alcohol to be had by all! So this Friday, I thought I’d share this detoxifying and delicious smoothie recipe to get your weekend off to the right start, and help you detoxify after the weekend is over!

This nutrient-rich smoothie is high in protein, good fats and nutrients, and it is also highly alkalising due to the chlorophyll and spirulina. New to chlorophyll? The Super Greens Smoothie

  • 1 small banana
  • 1 teaspoon of Spirulina Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chlorophyll
  • 1/2 cup tinned pineapple in juice
  • 10 cashews
  • 1/4 cup frozen mixed berries
