It’s Strawberry Sundae Time!

Strawberries are a favourite fruit of mine. Not only are they delicious, but they are high in fibre and the ultimate antioxidant vitamin C. So today I’m sharing with you a detoxifying and delicious smoothie that tastes just like a Strawberry Ice cream Sundae- without the guilt. This smoothie is the perfect combination of carbohydrates, protein and good fats and is perfect for breakfast or mid-morning snack. This is also perfect to replenish your muscles after your workouts.

strawberrysundaesmoothieTo make the Strawberry Sundae Smoothie Combine:

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 scoop choc whey protein isolate/brown rice protein (make sure this has no sugar)

Blend until smooth and creamy, and serve in tall glass. Yum Yum!
